A cute little museum about beekeeping and honey processing. My kindergartner loved the honey that comes out of the wall (taste-testing ports). And all the kids love watching the bees in action in a hive split by a piece of plexi.
Wouldn't necessarily go far out of my way to visit, but a 15 minute detour would be worth it.
[Diane, 03/24/2011]A neat little place in the middle of nowhere, part of a large honey making operation called Honey Acres. The museum has all kinds of facts and trivia concerning the making of honey and the bees who do the work. At the front counter one can sample all different kinds of honey and outside are some honey making artifacts from Europe. Worth a stop if your travels ever take you to Ashippun WI.
