[David Mackey, 09/19/2022]Jersey City Big Xmas Cat
This "Big Cat" was featured on your website back in 2006 and 2007 and was a unique roadside attraction for many years above Cliff's Clocks in Jersey City. It was moved to a warehouse in Kearny sometime in '07. New development has caused the cat to be moved again. The cat's owner is weighing options on where to display it now. One option is to use the cat as a fundraising tool for local animal shelters. This cat truly has nine lives!
[Billy/Shawn, 03/29/2015]World's Largest Cat - Gone
The World's Largest Cat has been moved. We went looking for it on Thanksgiving weekend and it was nowhere to be found. We asked a man sitting on the corner who has been living in the area for 30+ years and he said that the cat has been moved by its owner to the industrial section of "Carmel" off Route 7. My GPS and Atlas don't show a Carmel, NJ, so maybe a local knows what area he is referring to. Such a shame, we were looking forward to seeing it but he said it has been gone for three to four months and that many people had come by looking for it.
