The medieval-looking gutted walls of the ruined St. Dominic's Church are a strange sight in rural Texas.

- County Rd 5231, Hondo, TX
- Directions:
- From US Hwy 90, either 7.5 miles west of Hondo, or 1.5 miles east of D'Hanis, turn south onto County Rd 422. Drive a quarter-mile. Turn right onto County Rd 5216, then quickly left onto County Rd 5226. Drive south a quarter-mile. You'll see the ruins on the left.

Ruins of St. Dominic's Church
Only about a mile and a half off of highway 90, to the south. Nestled among ranch land, and incredibly quiet. The church and adjoining cemetery are fenced, so exploring inside is likely not allowed.
