Muhammad Ali Center
Louisville, Kentucky
Featured exhibits include his Rolls Royce; his 2015 "Happiness Hall of Fame" award; a full-size boxing ring with his video face projected onto the mat; a replacement for the gold medal that he won (and then lost) at the 1960 Olympics; and his sequin-studded "People's Choice" robe, given to him by Elvis Presley.
Ali's youth in Louisville is explored with a replica segregated lunch counter (that you can't sit at). In the "Train with Ali" gallery you can shadow-box with The Champ, then place your hands against a training body bag, brace your feet, and "feel the power of a heavyweight punch."
Also here: a large painting of Ali boxing (and beating) Superman; a fiberglass horse with Ali's face painted on it; the torch that Ali used to light the Olympic Flame at the 1996 Summer Games in Atlanta; his "Decade of the Brain" award; his Presidential Medal of Freedom; and a replica of his draft card.
