This is a probably 15 foot tall lounging bobcat-shaped building, built out of salvaged wood on an empty lot in the town of Catskill, NY. It even has eyes made out of glass balls and old plates.
Inside are exhibits celebrating the Catskill area, including a mummified house cat, fossils, Catskill stories dictated by random passers-by, old photos of the area, and a library of local lore. Signs, notebooks, questionnaires, and pens hanging inside the space encourage visitors to add their own story to the collection.
A pretty amazing thing to stumble on while driving down West Bridge Street in Catskill.
