South Lyon, Michigan: Michigan War Dog Memorial Park
Dozens of service dogs were buried in a pet cemetery that was abandoned. It was restored, and expanded with new monuments and a new name, in 2018.

Michigan War Dog Memorial Park
I think it started out as a pet cemetery. It looks like it has been taken over by a group that pays tribute to war/service dogs for all military branches, as well fire and law enforcement. It is in great shape and was easy to find.

The pet cemetery had a war dog memorial, but the graveyard had been abandoned, overgrown, and forgotten. Volunteers began a clean-up in 2010, and the project gradually expanded until an entire new set of memorials were added to the old ones. The park officially opened in 2018.
