Built in 1926 by traveling salesman Edmund B. Gustorf, who called it a "yacht-bungalow." The 2-bed/2-bath residential home, on a block of regular houses, is shaped like a 70-foot-long sea craft, and flanked by a small replica lighthouse.

Milwaukee's House Boat
The Edmund B. Gustorf Boat House went up for sale in 2017, and appears to have found a buyer, based on the lack of a For Sale sign. Mornings are the best time to photograph it. It's not too far away from a main street and is very easy to spot most times of the year.
