Statue of Liberty Replica
Newton Falls, Ohio
Green and familiar, maybe 25 feet tall. It's a fairly faithful reproduction of the Statue of Liberty in New York harbor, except that her diadem crown bristles with exaggerated spikes.
This Lady Liberty originally stood outside Liberty Tax Service in Leavittsburg. It was an unusually large rendering for a company that usually deployed mini-Liberties, positioned out by the roadside, to attract patriotic, math-challenged customers, along with seasonally hired characters who stand along the road in full Liberty costume.
This Statue of Liberty was moved to Newton Falls, where it now stands in a little downtown park as a non-commercial patriotic monument. It's among the most impressive models we've seen, although the Income Tax Liberty in Las Vegas is still the biggest.
