Ronald Reagan Museum, Berlin Wall Slab
Eureka, Illinois
Over 2,000 Reagan relics: the largest collection of Reaganabilia outside of his official California museum and library -- at the smallest college to graduate a future U.S. President.
Most of the artifacts were donated by Reagan himself. See a pair of his presidential cowboy boots; his 1932 college diploma and yearbook; his four-page handwritten paper on romantic literature; his Eureka College trustee robe; his honorary "The Gipper" football jersey; a selection of Oval Office mementoes; his autographed copy of Richard Nixon's biography signed "to another great leader;" his jellybean wall clock; and his only Golden Globe award, which he won in 1957 for "contributions to better citizenship."
Mikhail Gorbachev visited the museum in the 1990s and brought with him a slab of the Berlin Wall, which stands on a nearby hill along with a bronze bust of a smiling Reagan.
