- Ozark, Missouri - Lambert's - Home of Throwed Rolls
Had heard of the enormous wait times to get in, so we tried to arrive at what we thought would be an "off-peak" time, but apparently there is no such thing at Lambert's! Food was more than plentiful -- not "cold" as I've read in some reviews. Was it the best food we've had? No. Was it worth the hour drive, hour and half wait, and $10-18 priced lunch entrees? Ehhh.... Guess this is one of those "been there, done that, don't need to do it again!" attractions.

Worth the wait for the experience. Main dishes far outshone by the tasty fresh rolls with sorghum and family style sides.

Been there 3 times. Way too long a wait to get in to eat, then the food is cold.....like right out of the cooler cold. I will never go back.
[GK, 02/04/2010] - Ozark, Missouri - Lambert's - Home of Throwed Rolls
Lambert's is a restaurant off of Highway 65 at Ozark, MO. It opens about 11 am -- best to go early or you will wait an hour or more, but it is worth the wait. Great food and yes, they throw you the rolls from across the room. Prices are good. They have side orders they bring you besides what you order and it is All-U-Can Eat. Lambert's has three places in the Midwest. Got its start in Sikeston, MO when years ago someone said "throw me a roll."
[Marilyn, 11/25/2003]We've enjoyed dinnertime roll pelting in Sikeston. The Roll Tossers, with their mobile carts of hot buns, are fairly precise, although an occasional pitch goes wild into the rafters or smacks against the cluttered wall decorations. But the fun is worth any potential injury....
