[Katie, 10/13/2012]Original Texas Chainsaw Massacre House
This is the "family house" from the original 1973 Texas Chainsaw Massacre film. The house was built in 1909 in Round Rock, TX, achieved immortality as a film location, then was bought in 1998 and moved to Kingsland.
The house is currently leased as the Junction House Restaurant. When making your reservations, be sure to request sitting in the "Kingsville'"room - that's where the infamous dining room scenes of Texas Chainsaw Massacre were filmed. Beware of Leatherface at the top of the stairs! Great fun!
